Somatic Movement Therapy

If you are new participant, this service is great for you if you have pelvic pain, pelvic trauma, birth trauma, and if you are nervous about internal pelvic floor work. This service does not include internal pelvic floor therapy.

If you are an established client, this service is great for you to practice your prescribed home movement exercises with your practitioner.

If you are new to pelvic PT, this service includes gentle approaches to feeling safe in your body, using somatic approaches to feel grounded and present. You have the opportunity to establish a trusted relationship with your physical therapist, without receiving a diagnosis, and to ease into the process of transformation and somatic repositioning.

Are you an established client feeling a bit lost, overwhelmed, or struggling to commit to your home exercise program? If you already have a prescribed home practice (2-3 exercises), this one hour visit will start with guided imagery and meditations, and continue to hands-on guidance from your therapist as you go through your prescribed PT exercises. This is a wellness visit. Virtual option available.
